About Us

GSP LAB is
Development, manufacturing, and sales of FISH Probe
This is the company that does it.

Based on our proprietary database of approximately 180,000 BAC clones, we develop, manufacture, and sell over 400 types of FISH probes (fluorescently labeled gene detection reagents). Our FISH probes are used in a wide range of medical research, including the detection of related gene abnormalities in cancer-related diseases, prenatal diagnosis, and regenerative medicine (iPS cells), supporting researchers and testers alike.

Our Strength

Strengths of GSP LAB

  1. ( 01 )

Manufacturing of small quantities of a wide variety of products

We possess approximately 180,000 to 200,000 unique BAC clones, which are essential for the development and manufacture of FISH probes. Leveraging this massive resource—equivalent to about seven times the approximately 30,000 clones needed to cover the entire human genome—we manufacture FISH probes targeting diverse chromosomal regions, even in small quantities.

  2. ( 02 )

Flexible customization to meet the needs of researchers

In addition to approximately 400 existing products, we can also provide custom FISH probes tailored to any specific genetic abnormality in about 1-2 months. Since raw materials are sourced domestically, we can quickly respond to completely customized requests. Our expert staff will provide detailed support in Japanese, from product selection and probe design to usage instructions.

  3. ( 03 )

Achieving both high quality and low cost

We offer comparable products and custom-made items at lower prices than our competitors in the United States. We maintain consistent quality by establishing robust shipping procedures and implementing thorough quality control.

  4. ( 04 )

Over 193 papers accepted for publication.

Our FISH probes have been used in over 193 academic papers by 2025, demonstrating their high quality and reliability in the field of academic research.

Our Philosophy

For laboratories around the world,
To become an indispensable company.

We have one mission.
To eliminate problems for everyone involved in research, testing, and inspection.
This includes not only those on the front lines, but also those involved in management and administration, and even those responsible for transportation.
Listen to those voices, examine them closely, and uncover the issues.
Think through everything you can do to solve the problem.
Responding quickly to urgent situations on the ground with quality standards that meet pharmaceutical criteria.
Changes in people and society have made "problems" more sophisticated and complex.
If the laboratory stops functioning, the possibilities of science will also come to a halt.
That's why we want to be flexible.
Drawing on the knowledge, experience, and skills that have been accumulated,
We continue to challenge ourselves in new areas of contribution. We share one vision for the future.
To become an indispensable company for laboratories around the world.

With the reliable quality of our products,
We support the future of medicine and research.

FISH probes are indispensable for identifying mutated cells, including cancer cells. However, medical and research settings constantly receive sophisticated requests such as "We want custom-made probes" and "We want probes that fluoresce more vividly and are easier to see." GSP LAB meets these expectations by providing custom-made probes tailored to individual needs and high-quality FISH probes with excellent visibility and beautiful coloration. With the reliable quality of our products, we strongly support medical and research sites worldwide and contribute to the future of humanity.

Stay close to the research field,
We will take on new possibilities.

I have consistently been involved in life science research, from basic to applied research, at universities, the US NIH, and bio-ventures. As a researcher, I have always valued thinking based on scientific evidence and constantly challenging new possibilities. At GSP LAB, I will leverage this researcher's perspective in business operations, developing technologies such as the FISH Probe into products and services truly needed in research settings. By understanding the needs that only researchers can grasp and connecting science and business, we aim to be a company that contributes to the advancement of life science research and medicine.
