FISH Probe
Based on our proprietary database of approximately 180,000 BAC clones, we develop, manufacture, and sell over 400 types of FISH probes (fluorescently labeled gene detection reagents). Our FISH probes are used in a wide range of medical research, including the detection of related gene abnormalities in cancer-related diseases, prenatal diagnosis, and regenerative medicine (iPS cells), supporting researchers and testers alike.

Gene FISH Probe
Products for detecting abnormalities in specific genes
This product is used to identify how target genes are altered within cells, such as through amplification or deletion of specific genes, or through chromosomal aneuploidy.

Split Fish Probe
Gene cutting, isolation, and detection products
This product is used to detect whether a specific gene has been cut (rearranged) midway through its path. The regions flanked by the target gene (the 5′ and 3′ sides of the breakpoint) are fluorescently labeled with different colors.

Translocation FISH Probe
Chromosomal translocation and fusion gene detection products
This product can pinpoint and detect specific "fusion genes" resulting from chromosomal translocations. It can accurately identify translocations and gene fusions where the genes being combined are known in advance.

Custom-Designed Fish Probe
Custom FISH Probe Development
We manufacture custom probes tailored to the specific needs of each researcher, addressing any desired genetic abnormality. From customizing existing products to creating entirely original probes, we accommodate a wide range of specifications to suit research objectives, including changes to fluorescence color and brightness, and detection of specific genes and chromosomes.
What is a fish probe?
Genes and chromosomes
An indispensable tool for analyzing translocations, deletions, and amplifications.
These are fluorescently labeled molecular chains that bind to specific DNA or RNA sequences, and are used as gene detection reagents in FISH (Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization).
It is used to detect and visualize chromosomal abnormalities and specific gene regions, and has become an indispensable tool for analyzing chromosomal translocations, deletions, and amplifications.
